Back in the 90s, Keith Seegmiller created a word game on paper that was as fun as it was challenging. His younger brother, Roger Seegmiller, loved it so much that in 1998, he programmed it into Excel—yes, Excel! Even then, the game’s mix of vocabulary, logic, and intuition made it a favorite among family and friends.
Before Keith passed away, Roger made a promise: to bring the game to life for the world to enjoy. That promise became a mission—a mission that has finally become reality.

With the help of family and dedicated collaborators, our team has transformed this beloved word puzzle into a modern, competitive online experience: WordStrike5.
The core of the game remains true to Keith’s original vision—players must use strategy and deduction to uncover a five-letter target word while also determining the correct position of each letter. It’s more than just a vocabulary test; it’s a battle of logic, intuition, and skill.
